Rone has taken over Burnham Beeches, transforming it into an immersive, overwhelming ode to an abandoned past. Photos are one thing, but nothing prepares you for the sensation of entering Empire. A multi-dimensional art installation masterpiece.
Situated in the Dandenong Ranges, Melbourne, Burnham Beeches is an art deco style mansion. I was lucky to have plenty of time to shoot and avoided the other humans by being patient!
It’s like going back in time, quite haunting, with sound design and scent design that helps your brain imagine the history of each room. Quite remarkable. My favourite rooms would have to be the flooded library, the games room with pool table and music room with a grand piano.

Previously unavailable debut album by Rodrigo y Gabriela - Foc - alongside their first official release - Re-foc. You can purchase it here
Rodrigo y Gabriela's first release Re-Foc. 'Foc' is the Catalan word for fire. The fire photograph was a picture I shot in Thailand of a fire juggler. The contrast between the black and white photography and the fire was an intentional juxtaposition. You can buy the album here
I shot this image of a kid doing a hand stand in Barcelona. Susan Ryan, the author, loved the composition and so used it for her book cover, The King of Lavender Square. You can buy the book here
Interior photography for Sui Salon in Melbourne CBD.
The shots convey the superior quality that Sui offers.
Typography Photography project using iPhone and Instagram. I gave myself one week to take twenty six photos of found shapes in architecture and the urban environment that make all the letters of the alphabet in an abstract way. The photographs are taken between Brunswick and Melbourne CBD. I wanted the photos to be abstract in some way when appearing on their own but when words are made, the viewer can see them slightly more clearly.

The brief was pretty extensive and the shoot was over four days. It covered all aspects of the Dairy industry, from Warrnambool Cheese & Butter factory which is Australia's oldest dairy producer to Murray Goulburn in Devondale. The shoot also incorporated lab testing, production line and on farm shots that captured generic animals, animal care, feeding and milking.
